After Wayne Rooney had put the Rams in front, Town hit back to lead 2-1 through Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu and Donervon Daniels. Ex-Hatter Chris Martin pulled County level with five minutes left, only for Jayden Bogle to turn Harry Cornick's cross in moments later as the hosts won it. Check out how Luton's players rated below.
9. Kazenga LuaLua: 8
Was a real livewire in the first hour, as he carried the ball upfield well, drawing numerous fouls yet again to put Derby on the back foot. Final ball was lacking at times but proving an important player for Town.
10. Harry Cornick: 8.5
Pace was a real outlet for Luton and troubled the visiting defence all evening. Denied by Hamer three times, but kept on making the runs, and when found by Tunnicliffe, his cross was turned in Bogle to win it.
11. James Collins: 7
Put in plenty of work against the Rams back-line, urging his side to get up the pitch and help him during the first half. Didn't have too many sights of goal as Town just couldn't quite pick out their leading scorer in the area.
12. Donervon Daniels (SUB): 7.5
Ended up playing a huge part in proceedings after replacing Pearson. Unluckily deflected Rooney's shot in, but swiftly made amends, with a towering header to make it 2-1 and then dug in as Luton held on.
