Luton picked up a first victory at Nottingham Forest since 1983 with a 1-0 win last night. Ryan Tunnicliffe scored the only goal of the game, stretching to volley Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu's cross into the net for his second strike in as many games. To find out how the visitors rated on the evening, see below.
9. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 7
Midfielder was back in the starting line-up, but didn’t have things all his own way early on as Forest began well. As Town improved, so did he, with a moment of real quality, as his fantastic whipped cross led to Tunnicliffe’s winner.
10. Harry Cornick: 7
Couldn’t break out too much in the first period with Luton under the cosh at times, and on the rare occasion he did, his final ball was off. Was more of a threat after the break as he harried the home defence into some mistakes.
11. Elijah Adebayo: 8 -
An increasingly mature performance from someone who has started just three Championship games as he played his lone striker role impressively. Occupied the home defence, should have scored with one effort, while set up Clark too.
12. James Collins (SUB): 6.5
Came on for Adebayo with 10 minutes remaining and used his experience to win some late free kicks as Town ran the clock down with real ease.
