Luton suffered their second successive away defeat on Saturday, going down to a 2-0 defeat at Swansea City. Connor Roberts put the hosts in front after just two minutes, with Town having defender Matty Pearson sent off after the break, before Andre Ayew sealed the win late on. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Tom Lockyer (STAR MAN): 8
Marshallsed Ayew well for the large parts as the striker didn’t have too many sights of goal until Luton were down to 10 men. His bursts forward caught the eye though, with one fine foray on the right wing almost setting up Collins.
6. Glen Rea: 8
Another who looked very comfortable once Jones had swapped things around, with a committed performance, never allowing the Swan’s attackers to settle. Two late chances as well, unlucky to see his late header cleared off the line.
7. Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall: 6.5
Neat and tidy in possession but couldn’t quite reach the same influential heights as he had managed in his previous two games as Swansea were able to negate his threat. Made way in the second period.
8. Luke Berry: 6.5
Had the best chance of the game to draw Luton level, somehow lifting over the open goal in what was an uncharacteristic miss by the midfielder. Kept on trying manfully to engineer a way back into the game for the Hatters.
