Fraser Franks: 7 - Makeshift right back who was solid defensively and always threat on the counter too.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Full back linked well with Howells on the left, with one audacious turn on the ball very impressive.

Steve McNulty: 7 - Defender had a right old tussle with Akinfenwa and relished the battle.

Luke Wilkinson: 7 - Would have been disappointed to be beaten by Akinfenwa in the build-up to the goal, in an otherwise solid display.

Andy Drury: 5.5 - Once again didn’t really impose himself on proceedings and was withdrawn with Town chasing an equaliser.

Matt Robinson (STAR MAN): 8 - Stand out performer. Bossed the midfield area particularly in the first half, driving his side on at every opportunity.

Jake Howells: 7 - Plenty of chances to cross, but too often found them cut out or cleared.

Luke Guttridge: 7.5 - Great to see him back and starting again. Came closest for Town, denied by fine James Shea save.

Mark Cullen: 6.5 - Desperately unlucky with low shot that flicked the post. Nothing really fell to him in and around the box though.

Paul Benson: 6.5 - Hold up play impressive once more but still left searching for a first goal of the season.

Alex Wall (SUB): 5.5 - Missed a great chance to level for Town as he skied wastefully over.

Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (SUB): 6 - Gave Luton some legs in midfield as they searched for an equaliser.

Jim Stevenson (SUB): 6 - Thrown on late but couldn’t help Town salvage a point.
