Hatters rated v Bristol Rovers
Scott Cuthbert: 6 - Defender was as solid as he has been so far this season, although at times didn’t have the protection required.
Steve McNulty: 6 - Captain was clearly gutted once more by Town’s inability to keep a clean sheet. Needs more from the players in front of him though.

Hide AdLuke Wilkinson: 6 - Remains one of the bright points from Luton’s ordinary start to the season. Regular surges forward from the back always well received by the Hatters faithful too.
Stephen O’Donnell: 5.5 - Struggled once more on the right as although willing to get forward early on, his final ball was poor and then appeared to lose confidence, opting to turn back inside.
Nathan Doyle: 5.5 - Could never really grasp a hold on central midfield as he did so often last term. Looked to have tweaked a hamstring on the hour as he was withdrawn for Smith.
Cameron McGeehan: 5 - Formation did him no favours as the game seemed to pass him by. Not sure whether to commit to going forward or try and hold his position.

Hide AdPaddy McCourt: 6 - Only player who really tried to mount any attacks for Luton. Guilty of holding on to possession for too long at times, but there was nothing really ever moving in front of him.
Scott Griffiths: 5 - Not a natural wing back by any stretch and it was clear to see during the 90 minutes. If Still is going to persist with the players and system, his crossing needs to be worked on.
Craig Mackail-Smith: 5 - Striker was forced to live off scraps, but his hold up play was disappointing as he remains without a goal in Luton colours.
Paul Benson: 5 - Tried to link up with Mackail-Smith but noting came off and he cut an isolated figure at times.

Hide AdJonathan Smith (SUB): 5.5 - His introduction saw Luton finally start to gain some kind of foothold in the midfield, but then they were hit by the sucker punch.
Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu (SUB): 5 - Doesn’t appear certain what his role is in the side is during late cameos. Looks a shadow of the player who dominated all before him at the start of last campaign.
Jack Marriott (SUB): 5.5 - Hard to come into a side who were struggling as badly as they were and couldn’t change the momentum.
