Hatters rated v Burton

Elliot Justham: 6.5 - Once again his handling was efficient throughout as was his kicking for the majority. Will be hugely disappointed his defence switched off at the vital moment though.

Michael Harriman (STAR MAN): 7.5 - Defender was a bundle of energy both going forward and defensively. Came within inches of a super strike too.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Clearly struggling with injury at times, but still put in a committed display. Had the best chance of the lot, firing frustratingly over the bar.

Steve McNulty: 7 - Captain has regained some of his dominance and composure in recent weeks as he relished the battle with Burton’s forwards.

Luke Wilkinson: 6.5 - Another decent performance in the air, but is still getting caught out on the floor occasionally.

Alex Lawless: 6 - Came close in the first half, but didn’t quite have the impact he would have wanted on the right hand side..

Nathan Doyle: 7 - Showed once more just what a crucial part of Town’s team he will be next season with another assured performance.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Added plenty of athleticism to Luton’s midfield and got stuck in to good effect too.

Jake Howells: 5.5 - In the side to get wide and produce crosses, but bar one dart during the second period, didn’t really provide the supply-line so desperately needed.

Paul Benson: 7.5 - Led the line valiantly as he was Town’s get out ball time and time again. Hold up play stood up to the challenge of Burton’s defence too as his fitness improves with every game.

Elliot Lee: 6 - Not yet match-fit, but the hour will do him good. Flashes of his undoubted ability although might have hit the target with first half header.

Mark Cullen (SUB): 6 - Striker came on for Lee and might have snatched a late leveller only to shoot over.

Nathan Oduwa (SUB): 6 - Came on to try and stretch the Brewers defence, but end product unfortunately lacking.

Luke Guttridge (SUB): 6 - Timed his run perfectly but missed a great chance to put Town ahead moments before falling behind.
