Hatters rated v Northampton Town
Michael Harriman: 6 - Never had the chance to get forward as he had against Wycombe. Very unfortunate with the penalty decision as didn’t look like a deliberate handball.
Lewis Kinsella: 6 - Had to be careful after an early booking but stuck to the task well on what was his Football League debut. Looks to take a good corner too.

Hide AdSteve McNulty: 6.5 - With the skipper on, it appeared Town would end their dismal run. When he went off, the defence lost their way somewhat.
Luke Wilkinson: 6 - Improved display from Tuesday night, but still not quite exerting that air of authority he had a few months back.
Andy Drury: 5.5 - Midfielder never really had the chance to get on the ball as much as he liked with Luton going long at times.
Nathan Doyle: 6 - Great to see him back for the Hatters and looked calm and composed in the first half. Tired during second period though as was to be expected.

Hide AdJonathan Smith: 6 - Another who added some more steel to the Luton midfield, but didn’t really have the guile to unlock Northampton’s defence.
Alex Lawless: 6.5 - Lovely effort for the goal, although admitted afterwards the wind had played its part too.
Mark Cullen: 6 - Chased a host of lost causes once more as didn’t really have anything clear-cut to work with again.
Paul Benson: 6 - Hold up play was impressive, but too often there was a lack of support alongside him to make the most of attacking situations.

Hide AdAlex Lacey (SUB): 5.5 - Came on with Luton 1-0 to the good, but found it tough going as the Hatters were defeated.
Ricky Miller (SUB): 5.5 - Plenty of energy on display, but no real end product from the sub.
Cameron McGeehan (SUB): 5.5 - Looked to get forward as best he could during brief cameo.
