Hatters rated v Portsmouth
Michael Harriman: 6.5 - Got forward whenever possible on the right as Pompey stood off Town at times, and did a sound job defensively too.
Jake Howells: 6 - Return to left back in the absence of Griffiths but would have been frustrated that both goals came from crosses on his flank.

Hide AdLuke Wilkinson: 6 - Had to walk a disciplinary tightrope from very early on after cleaning out Dunne. At fault for the opener too as centre half is still not back to his best since suspension.
Steve McNulty: 6 - Was warming to the task against Taylor until his afternoon was ended by a head injury as he didn’t reappear for the second half.
Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Played further forward this time and seemed to relish his advanced role. Might have done better with one effort in the first half though.
Andy Drury (STAR MAN): 7 - Back in the side after spell on the bench and looked to enjoy his slightly deeper role. Tidy in possession and got Luton moving by switching play left and right.

Hide AdAlex Lawless: 6.5 - First start since October as he continues to build up his match fitness. Was inches away with a magnificent 35-yarder.
Luke Guttridge: 6.5 - Another who was always trying to engineer opening but just couldn’t break down a solid Pompey defence.
Shaun Whalley: 5.5 - Was found on the wing a number of times, but didn’t make the most of his opportunities, as too often crosses were either blocked or overhit.
Mark Cullen: 5.5 - Got through plenty of running, but with Town’s final ball lacking for most of the afternoon, didn’t have many sights of goal.

Hide AdFraser Franks (SUB): 7 - Confident display from the defender who was brought on to replace McNulty after the break.
Paul Benson (SUB): 6 - Good to see him back out in a Luton shirt after his broken leg, but had barely any service to work with.
Nathan Oduwa (SUB): 7.5 - Looked very lively from the second he came on and gave Portsmouth’s back-line plenty of headaches. Must be due a start soon.
