Hatters rated v Stevenage

Mark Tyler: 7 - Bar the odd miscommunication with Wilkinson, it was a solid display from the keeper who came for crosses well and made an important late stop from Franks too.

Alex Lawless: 7 - Really settling into his right back position at the moment as once more he linked up well with Green, while keeping it tight defensively. Wonderful late cross almost saw McQuoid head a winner.

Scott Griffiths: 7 - Caught out of position a few times, but recovered to make some crucial last-ditch interventions as Hatters kept a third successive league clean sheet.

Luke Wilkinson: 7 - Few nervy moments at the start between him and Tyler were ironed out as the game progressed. Starting to develop a good partnership with Cuthbert now too.

Scott Cuthbert: 7 - Looked far more at ease with Gnanduillet’s imposing threat as the game wore on and dealt with Jamille Matt well late on too. Slowly getting back to his impressive early season form.

Danny Green (STAR MAN): 8 - Ran the show at times, particularly during a 20-minute period in the second half. Desperately unlucky to see his free kick hit the bar

Jonathan Smith: 7.5 - Another decent showing from the midfielder who as is becoming the norm now, let fly from range whenever the chance arose. Came close tooe.

Olly Lee: 7.5 - Managed to venture further forward much more than in recent games, with his distribution as always, catching the eye. Breathtaking piece of individual skill and shot almost brought the house down as well.

Cameron McGeehan: 6.5 - Started out on the left where he couldn’t really influence the game and eventually played behind Benson in the second half. Few good bursts, without ever quite fully getting into the game.

Paul Benson: 5.5 - Spoilt what would have been a vital 90 minutes with a silly and reckless challenge at the end. Can’t really have any complaints in this day and age and will miss three games for Town now.

Josh McQuoid: 6.5 - Couldn’t quite hit the heights of the last two games as he was utilised in a number of different roles this time. Was a threat with the ball at his feet as usual and almost won it late on, only to nod against the bar.

Jack Marriott (SUB): 6 - Looked sharp after replacing McGeehan and might have been through to score, but for the hand of Wells.

Sean Long (SUB): 6Replaced Green and linked up well with Lawless, helping to fashion the late chance for Marriott.

Mark O’Brien (SUB): 5.5 - On for the final minutes as Luton looked to keep hold of their point.
