Luton did the double over struggling Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday, running out 3-1 winners. After falling behind to a first half penalty, late goals from George Moncur, Kazenga LuaLu and Elijah Adebayo saw the Hatters hit back to deservedly triumph. To find out how the visitors rated on the afternoon, see below.
5. Sonny Bradley: 7
First start for the skipper since February due to injury and it allowed Luton to have more of a settled back four. Did well to limit the Chairboys threats from set-pieces during the first period as red card made things easier after the break.
6. Ryan Tunnicliffe: 4
Couldn’t have any kind of influence on proceedings in a tough first half for the Hatters, having precious few touches of the ball and giving it away more often than not. Replaced at the break as Jones shuffled things around.
7. Luke Berry: 4
Another who has been out of the side in recent weeks, but like his last start at Norwich only lasted 45 minutes before being taken off. Didn’t see much of the ball as Town went too long and bypassed the midfield in the opening period.
8. Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu: 6.5
Part of a midfield who were barely in the game before half time as Luton’s defenders went for the early ball to their forwards with little success. Managed to get into it after the break and should have had an assist with a clever ball to Adebayo.
