Hatters snap up Owusu
LUTON Town have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of experienced striker Lloyd Owusu on a free transfer, writes Mike Simmonds.
The 34-year-old Ghanian international, who has been on trial at Gillingham recently, has signed a deal at Kenilworth Road until the end of the season after a spell in Australia with Adelaide United.

Hide AdPrior to moving Down Under, Owusu started his career at Slough Town before he was snapped up by Brentford for £25,000.
He scored 25 goals in his debut season at Griffin Park, and went on to enjoy spells at a number of clubs including Brighton & Hove Albion, Sheffield Wednesday and Reading, notching over 100 goals in more than 350 league appearances.
He has been allocated shirt number 34, and subject to international clearance, will go straight into the squad for tonight’s clash with York City.
