Loan signing ready to make an impact
EXPERIENCED centre-half Craig Hinton has helped to bolster Luton Town’s threadbare backline, writes Mark Wood.
With Shane Blackett ruled out for up to two months with a groin injury and the Hatters unable to agree a deal for York City defender David McGurk, Luton signed Hinton on loan from Northampton Town until January last week.
On the move, Hinton said: “I got a phonecall on the Thursday night saying Luton had expressed an interest in taking me on loan.”
