Hull remain interested in signing Andre Gray

Asked about Gray following Hull’s 2-1 win over Fulham last night, Bruce told the Hull Daily Mail: “It’s quite plain that we’ve got to meet their valuation. At the moment we can’t.

“We’ve known for long enough now how much it’s going to cost. We haven’t been prepared to meet Brentford’s valuation. Bristol have and if we’re going to revisit it, you’re asking the wrong person.”

Any deal for Gray would see Hatters pocket around 20% of the fee due to their sell-on clause and on bringing the striker to Ashton Gate, Robins boss Steve Cotterill told the Bristol Post: “It will be nice if it were to come off, but I’m afraid there isn’t much I can say on that at this moment in time.”
