Luton midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu joined a select band of players to make 400 appearances for the Hatters at the weekend when he came on during the 5-1 defeat at treble winners Manchester City.
The 30-year-old is now one of just 11 who have reached the milestone in a Town shirt and the Luton News takes a look at who else has achieved the landmark below.
9. Brian Stein
Born in South Africa, he moved to Edgware Town and then joined Luton in 1977 when signing for Harry Haslam. One of, if not the best finishers the club has seen, helping the club win promotion to the top flight, making his 400th outing in March 1987, going on to score twice in the Littlewoods Cup Final 3-2 victory over Arsenal in 1988. Headed to France in 1988, but came back to Luton a few years later, ending up with 496 games, also finding the net 154 times. Photo: Hatters Heritage
10. Marvin Johnson
Moved to Kenilworth Road from school football in Aylesbury, as he signed professional terms in October 1986, establishing himself in the centre of defence at the club, reaching 400 appearances in April 2000. The crowd favourite ended up with 439 matches in total for Luton, scoring 10 goals. Photo: Shaun Botterill
