Luton manager Nathan Jones isn’t anticipating a busy January transfer window at Kenilworth Road.

The Town boss made a number of signings during the summer, bringing in players such as Tom Lockyer, Jordan Clark and James Bree, before also adding Rhys Norrington-Davies, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Sam Nombe on loan, with Joe Morrell joining from Bristol City too.

Jones could bolster his squad from Saturday, January 2, 2021 until Monday, February 1 and when asked if it was likely that there will be any further additions on their way, the boss said: “We have a very good squad here.

"If something comes up that will make us a lot better then maybe we will have a conversation but at the minute, we’re not looking for anything.

"What we have to do is make sure the players that are here, we improve them and get them playing to the best of their abilities.

"If we do we have a very good squad so we don’t just want to add anyone for the sake of it because we have a very strong squad.

"We trained today with two 11’s today, and one spare really, and the quality was a high standard.

"Just to add wouldn’t be right, we have to try and get more out of certain individuals here.

"Sam Nombe is starting to gather a bit of pace, others haven’t quite hit the ground running yet but they will.

"It’s about really working hard with the group we’ve got because we’re very happy with the group we’ve got.”
