Kovacs: Losers Luton must turn things around

LOSERS Luton must turn things around if they are to make the play-offs, according to a clearly emotional Janos Kovacs, writes Mark Wood.

The Hungarian defender was inconsolable after Town conceded twice on Friday night in the last 10 minutes against York City and admitted they need to be more resilient.

Kovacs said: “In my eyes this is the mentality you need to show.

“This is the difference between winners and losers. You cannot play brilliantly through the whole 90 minutes.

“But you get periods in the game where you need to dig in, stay together and stay strong as a unit, as a team and be winners. With massive letters, WINNERS.”
