Lawless relishing ‘feisty’ U’s encounter
The two sides developed a healthy rivalry during their respective stints in the Conference, as Luton comprehensively won the battle for the title last season.
Lawless, who is now back after three months out with a broken foot, said: “I’m just looking forward to playing any game at the minute.

“They were feisty games last year and we’re looking to go on from here (Cheltenham) and win our next game, whoever it was.
“With it being Cambridge, it is is an extra incentive.”
Former Luton loan star Cameron McGeehan will be back at Kenilworth Road in a Cambridge shirt this weekend as Lawless continued: “You know people’s strengths weaknesses which I think sometimes helps.
“He’s definitely someone we’ll keep any eye on after playing with him last year, so hopefully we’ll know how to deal with him.”

“If we have a good day then I think it will be a really entertaining game.
“I’m really looking forward to it too and just want to take it all in.”
