The 20-year-old joined from West Ham last Thursday and score just moments after coming on against AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

He said: “I’ve known Pelly (Ruddock Mpanzu) and Cam (McGeehan) for a while now.

“I spoke to both of them and they said how good a club it was and are really excited about the places it can go, so that swayed me to come in.”

Lee’s home debut is expected to be this weekend when Hatters host Accrington Stanley and he can’t wait to experience the Kenilworth Road atmosphere.

The forward, who pened a two and a half year deal at Upton Park last March, has signed for a month initially, but sees no reason why he can’t stay for the remainder of the season and then see what the future holds.
