Luton keeper Harry Isted made his National League debut as Wealdstone held Yeovil Town to a 2-2 draw in their first game of the season on Tuesday night.

The visitors went in front midway through the first half when Kundai Benyu’s pass was handled in the area by Charlie Lee and Moses Emmanuel sent Adam Smith the wrong way.

Isted saved well from Courtney Duffus, as former Hatter Luke Wilkinson’s free kick sailed over the bark for Yeovil.

After the break, Rhys Murphy levelled for the Glovers within a minute as Isted had to deny Jimmy Smith moments later.

The hosts then went in front as Lee powered home a bullet header from close range after Carl Dickinson’s corner on the hour mark.

Wealdone equalised with 17 minutes to go though when Michael Phillips smashed home from close range to earth his side a point.

The Stones visit Dagenham & Redbridge today.

Young Town keeper Tiernan Parker had a tough start to his loan spell at Hitchin Town, as the Canaries were beaten 5-0 in the FA Cup by St Albans City on Saturday.

Down to 10 men after just 12 minutes, Hitchin, struggled against a Saints side who saw former Hatter Zane Banton hit the target, with ex-Town youth player Devante Stanley also in their ranks.

Hitchin are at home to Leiston today in the Southern League Premier Division.
