LOAN WATCH: Wall helps Rovers beat Heed in thriller

Hatters striker Alex Wall played 85 minutes as Bristol Rovers defeated Gateshead 3-2 in a topsy turvy Vanarama Conference clash on Friday night.

Rovers had trailed 1-0 and 2-1, but hit back to see off a Heed side, including former Town player JJ O’Donnell.

Striker Lee Angol couldn’t prevent Conference South leaders Boreham Wood from losing their nine match unbeaten run as they were hammered 4-1 at Eastbourne Borough.

Kynan Isaac came on as a second half sub for Hemel Hempstead Town in their 1-1 draw with Havant & Waterlooville in the same division.

Brett Longden featured for Arlesey Town as they lost 2-0 at Redditch United in Southern League Premier Division.

Meanwhile, Mark Onyemah made his debut for Hampton & Richmond, playing 73 minutes, as they were beaten 2-1 at home by Billericay Town in the Ryman Premier Division.
