The Hatters have three games left to go, and while they're not involved a push for promotion or battle against relegation, they will still be eager to finish the 2020/21 campaign on a high, and secure a top-half finish to round off a highly-encouraging season.
Speaking ahead of the Boro match, Luton boss Nathan Jones paid tribute to Harry Cornick, who scored the winner and his first goal of the season in a 3-2 thriller against Bristol City last weekend. He claimed: “If you judge him on his goals, it’s been a season where he hasn’t been as productive as in previous years.
“But if you look at his overall output, he’s a real dangerous player and a real big player for us.
“We’ve been delighted with Harry, yes we would like him to score more goals for us and for himself and his own sanity and mind-frame, but for us, he’s been excellent.
“It was good for him to get that as we wouldn't want him to go a full season without scoring because he’s had that progression year in year out.”
