The 20-year-old West Ham forward was introduced just after the hour mark, before almost instantly drawing the Hatters level.

The Dons went on to snatch victory with the very last kick as Lee said: “It was mixed emotions for me and all the lads.

“Coming on and scoring with my first touch for the club was a fantastic feeling for me personally.

“I thought I’d nicked us at least a point, which was the least we deserved, but that’s the way football goes
sometimes.

“To concede in the last seconds was heartbreak, all the lads are devastated, but we’ll go again.”

Lee’s finish was a classy attempt too, as he raced on to Luke Guttridge’s pass and kept his composure to side-foot past Dons keeper James Shea. The young Hammer is now determined to make the most of his spell at Kenilworth Road after seeing a stint at League Two rivals Southend United ended during his first training session earlier this season.
