Money staying quiet over McGurk deal

LUTON Town manager Richard Money was remaining tight-lipped on whether York City defender David McGurk would be joining the club this week, writes Mike Simmonds.

The 28-year-old launched a public come and get me plea to the Hatters, who are believed to have made a number of offers.

With the loan window closing at 5pm on Thursday, any deal would have to be completed before the cut-off point, leaving Luton with just over 24 hours left to act.
