Month off to get the Besta out of Czech

CZECH midfielder Pavel Besta has been given a month away from the first team fray in a bid to get his fitness up.

The 28-year-old midfielder didn’t have the luxury of a pre-season and, with a hectic private life, manager Richard Money has decided to take him out of the firing line for the time being.

He said: “I think what people should realise is that when we brought him over and played him against Newcastle that was his first piece of action since finishing the season in Slovakia at the end of June.
