Neilson looking to the future as Luton visit Langford

ASSISTANT boss Alan Neilson will be keeping a close eye on the development when they travel to Langford for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, writes Mike Simmonds.

Although promoted to manager Gary Brabin’s number two, Neilson still remains in charge of the development side, where the likes of JJ O’Donnell, Alex Lacey and Godfrey Poku progressed into the first team last season.

He said: “Langford will be the development squad and I’ll be going across to watch the game and see if there are any good players out there.”
