Kevin Gallen, Claude Gnakpa and Tom Craddock all hit doubles, while Keith Keane and Jake Howells were both on target too as the Hatters thrilled the 6,761 in attendance. Below, the Luton News takes a special look at just who took to the field for Town that day.
1. GK: Mark Tyler
Keeper was to have a very quiet afternoon that day, with all the action at the other end! Clean sheet was the start of four in a row as Town racked up the goals.
2. RB: Ed Asafu-Adjaye
Defender had been in and out of the side during the season, but played 11 out of the final 12 league games as Town went goal-crazy.
3. LB: Freddie Murray
Played a large part of the season at left back for the Hatters, making almost 50 appearances in the campaign.
4. CB: Janos Kovacs
Defender joined in January and formed a central defensive partnership with George Pilkington for the Hatters. Replaced at half time by Shane Blackett as he only featured twice more that season.
