Town will have defender Matty Pearson available for this afternoon’s trip to promotion contenders Bournemouth.

The 27-year-old missed Tuesday night’s game with QPR due to coronavirus protocols, although was present at Kenilworth Road to see his side beaten 2-0.

However, he could be in the squad that heads to the Vitality Stadium, as boss Nathan Jones said: “He was one that had to isolate, so he isolated and he’s through his isolation period now.

“Everyone’s okay, we’ll be stronger going into Saturday than we were Tuesday night.”

Fellow defender Martin Cranie remains the only absentee for Town, who have new signing Kal Naismith available, with Jones adding: “He’s the one that we’ve still got out injured, we can’t rush him back.

“He’s had a tight calf, so if you push that then you run the risk of it being an extended injury.”
