POLL: Hatters fans pick their team for Accrington

Hatters fans have put themselves in the place of Town manager John Still and picked the side they think should take the field at Accrington Stanley this afternoon.

With over 375 fans completing a poll on the News/Gazette website this week, summer signing Craig Mackail-Smith was the most selected player, with 380 votes, followed by fellow new additions Danny Green (319) and Stephen O’Donnell (314).

In goal is Mark Tyler, with full backs O’Donnell and Scott Griffiths, while in the centre of defence are Steve McNulty and Scott Cuthbert.

A midfield three sees Nathan Doyle, Cameron McGeehan and Jonathan Smith take their place in the starting line-up, with Green on one flank, Paddy McCourt the other, and Mackail-Smith leading the line up front.
