With 2020 finally over, Hatters fans have been choosing their best goal from the past 12 months by voting in an online poll run by the Luton News. To find out which strike was chosen as the winner from the 12 shortlisted, see the results, in ascending order, below.
1. 12th: Luke Berry v Barnsley - 0.4%
The midfielder picked up the rebound once Lee’s shot had hit the post and fired a cracking first time left-footed strike into the top corner to put Town 1-0 ahead.
2. Joint 9th: Elliot Lee v Huddersfield - 1.3%
The attacker was first to the loose ball after Collins had fired against the woodwork and shrugged off a challenge before hammering his drive into the net to double the Hatters’ advantage.
3. Joint 9th: Callum McManaman v Preston - 1.3%
In Luton’s first game back following lockdown, the hosts were staring down the barrel of defeat until the winger came off the bench to net with an angled drive from just inside the area and earn a precious point.
4. Joint 9th: Martin Cranie v Brentford - 1.3%
Grabbed a second of the season in some style, with a right footed volley into the top corner after Bees keeper David Raya hadn’t gathered a corner, giving Town some breathing space on their way to a crucial three points.
