Hatters host St Albans in FA Cup

LUTON Town will host St Albans City in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup on October 23 as the Saints defeated Kingstonian in a replay on Monday night.

After the sides’s had drawn 0-0 at St Albans on Saturday, two goals from Marbella-born Pelayo Gomez, on a work-experience deal from Brentford, put City through to play at Kenilworth Road.

In front of 367 fans at Kingsmeadow, the visitors took the lead on 17 minutes, but Kingstonian were level on the stroke of half time through a Bobby Traynor penalty.

Gomez netted the decisive goal for the Conference South side in the 72nd minute though to ensure it was they who go through to face the Hatters.
