Steelmen test will help to toughen up Town’s youngsters
THE tough and physical test provided by Corby was the ideal workout Town’s youngsters needed according to boss Gary Brabin, writes Mark Wood.
Corby rough-housed their way to a 2-1 victory over the Hatters at Steel Park on Saturday, but Brabin was pleased with what he saw less than 24 hours after the 3-1 defeat of Premier League QPR at Kenilworth Road.
He said: “To be honest I’m not too disappointed. I’m disappointed in the result but I thought the lads acquitted themselves well.”
