The Luton manager, who has confirmed an interest in Barnet’s Keanu Marsh-Brown, is considering strengthening his side’s attacking options with Alex Lawless and Shaun Whalley still not ready for a full return.

He said: “I’ve held on because I was hoping that (Shaun) Whalley would get fit and (Alex) Lawless would get fit, properly fit.

“He (Lawless) got involved at the weekend and is still not quite right, while Shaun’s just back in training.

“So it’s possible an attacking player, it would have to be a loan, that doesn’t mean to say it wouldn’t be with a view (to a permanent transfer).

“But sometimes you can go and get someone and all of a suddden Lawless is fit and Whalley’s fit and they’re doing well and you’ve got another player, too many of that type.”

Although Still has made a number of signings during the summer, with the likes of Kynan Isaac, Charlie Walker and Lee Angol coming in, before being loaned out against, he is now looking for first team material.

The boss added: “I’m not particularly looking at bringing any young ones in, unless something smacks me in the face, because we’ve got that group. The group we set out to get we’ve got and they’re all playing now.”
