Still expecting to make double signing
Luton Town boss John Still is hoping to complete a double signing in the next week, with a defender and a proven striker expected to join.
The Hatters chief has already brought in Jack Marriott, Scott Cuthbert, Dan Potts and Cameron McGeehan this summer, but is now close to securing another two of his main targets.
Speaking exclusively to the News/Gazette, Still said: “We had three other targets and I think that we’ll at least get two of those over the next week or so.

Hide Ad“A defender and a forward, they’re the ones we’ve been talking to.
“One I think is almost signed and sealed and one we’re waiting on, so I’m really pleased with that.”
Still confirmed that both players would be ready-made first-team options and that the striker was someone who has scored goals elsewhere in his career.
