Still hoping to sort out Rooney’s future
Hatters boss John Still is hoping to finally sort out winger Luke Rooney’s future this week.
The ex-Gillingham and Swindon wideman signed a short term deal at Kenilworth Road last season, but both player and manager have expressed an interest at extending that into the new campaign.
Still said: “I’ve spoken to his agent and should be speaking to Luke soon.
“Hopefully we’ll be a little bit closer to that this week.”
