After bringing in Jack Marriott, Scott Cuthbert and Dan Potts, Still then forked out an undisclosed six figure sum to make Norwich City midfielder Cameron McGeehan a permanent Luton player.

He said: “The ages of the likes of Cameron and Pelly (Ruddock), Danny Potts, Jack Marriot, this is the type of thing we need to keep trying to do.

“We knew Cameron, he’s done very well for us and is an ideal signing.

“I don’t think anyone at the club was against us trying to do it as I think he’s going to gradually bring something to the party that we don’t have.”
