Still remains keen on signing Gibbons

Hatters boss John Still has confirmed he will speak again to former Sunderland U18s captain Lewis Gibbons about a move to Kenilworth Road.

The 20-year-old was released by the Black Cats after failing a drugs test in 2013 and had been playing for Northern League side Durham City last term.

He was due to sign for Luton midway through the season, only to see the move stall over issues regarding his accommodation.

But speaking this week, Still said: “When I get back from my break, I will bang on all of those things again.

“That’s one of three or four things that are just under the radar that I’m looking to do.”
