Still was never thrown off course by horror run

Cameron McGeehan’s 81st minute winner saw Town end a run of seven consecutive defeats and reignite their faltering play-off hopes.

On the victory, Still said: “I’m delighted for the players as they’ve been working their socks off and not getting the results they deserve.

“I’m delighted for the supporters, but delighted for the football club too.

“When we came we had a mission, we had a plan, and when you don’t win a few people forget the mission and the plan, but the mission and the plan don’t change.

“Like I always say, if people want miracles, don’t come to a football club because it isn’t like that.

“There’s ups and downs and it’s how you deal with the ups and how you deal with the downs.”

Had Town lost their eighth successive match, it would have seen them equal an unwanted club record of defeats, spanning back to 1900.
