Still would be delighted if Town benefit from Gray transfer

Luton Town boss John Still would be ‘delighted’ if his side were to benefit financially after reports that Andre Gray could make a big money move away from Brentford.

Rumours have been rife in recent weeks that Gray, who left Luton for Griffin Park last summer, is a target of recelently relegated QPR.

A figure of £4m has been suggested for the striker who notched 18 goals last season and scored 57 times in 111 appearances for Luton.

Any such deal would see Luton earn around £500,000 due to their sell-on clause and on such a potential boost to his spending power, Still said: “I don’t really look at it too much really as I’m focusing on my own job.

“If the club benefits from that though, that’s fantastic and I’ll be really pleased with that obviously.”
