Swede smell of success as young Hatters excel
TALENTED youngsters from Luton Town’s performance centre enjoyed success on their end of season tour at the Aroscupen Cup in Sweden.
Over 150 boys were in action with the U12s winning the competition outright, the U13 squads finishing second and third in their age group and the U14s coming runners-up.
Head of talent identification at the club, Kevin Thoburn, who led the trip, said: “Our aim was to get all of our teams through to the knockout phases of the competition which we achieved, however to make three finals at U12s, U13s and U14s was a great effort from the boys.”
