Sweet: Prudent Hatters will be debt-free by end of the season
Managing director reassures fans over financial situation
FINANCIALLY sound Hatters board LTFC2020 are set to pay off their debts by the end of the season, writes Mark Wood.
Having originally been ordered to pay over £1.6million for the club, including £540,000 extra by the Football League, they have just £90,000 remaining to pay off.
Managing director Gary Sweet said: “We made a payment last week on time and the debt should be clear by about April.”
