Town star Drury could become a wanted man

WITH every passing moment, Andy Drury’s stand out form is going to make it an uncomfortable January transfer window for Town manager Richard Money, writes Mike Simmonds.

The winger, signed from Stevenage Borough in the summer, has been in stunning form all season and is quite clearly the best player in the Conference.

His wonder goal at Charlton on Saturday was replayed on ITV and will no doubt add a few more pounds to his value which could see the Luton boss fending off bids for the 27-year-old after Christmas.

When asked about the strike in the post-match press conference at the Valley, Money said with a smile: “Stop talking about Andy Drury will you.”
