Town Supporters Club feeling increasingly marginalised

Luton Town Supporters Club have revealed in a letter to members that they are feeling increasingly marginalised by the club.

“The football club will say that we are still the Official Supporters Club, but this is more than just a title. In my view being official has to give us a level of preference, which I am afraid no longer exists.

While still hoping to find their own niche within the club, they admitted being unable to organise an end of season presentation awards night this season they feel the ‘cream’ of supporters events are now beyond them.

The letter continued: “It has recently been made clear that the football club want to formalise the engagement of the supporter base through Trust in Luton.

“This is something I have no problem with but it does mean that our role becomes relegated even further.

“We are therefore looking at the way forward to maintain the LTSC name and the role we may be able to continue to offer.”
