Town’s transfer-listed players stay at home to sort futures out
Hatters boss John Still has confirmed that the club’s transfer-listed players would stay behind as the rest of the squad flew out to Portugal on Wednesday afternoon.
With the likes of Alex Lacey, Fraser Franks and Andy Parry all trying to finalise moves elsewhere after being told they could leave, Still said: “Quite a few of them talking to clubs, so they will stay behind and see if that can be finalised or not.
“If something happens and they have to get on the phone, it’s better if they’re here.”
Goalkeeper Mark Tyler will miss the trip too as Still added: “We just want him to have some rehab on his knee, but everyone else has come back absolutely fine.”
