Willmott and Morgan-Smith in for Quakers clash

FIT-AGAIN attacker Amari Morgan-Smith and new signing Robbie Willmott go straight into Town’s squad for tomorrow night’s visit of Darlington, writes Mark Wood.

Life without talented midfielder Andy Drury, who finally sealed his move to Championship side Ipwsich Town today, will begin in earnest when the powerful Quakers come to town.

And they are set to name former long-term Luton loan man Liam Hatch in their squad.

On the striker-turned defender, who Richard Money bossed last season, the Hatters manager said: “He is a handful and I’m sure he will want to do well tomorrow night, especially coming back to the stadium. They are a big and aggressive team.

“Them and Grimsby were the two teams that came down and they will give us a similar challenge to Grimsby last week.

“We will have to be at our best to get the result we all want.”

And although Money can no longer call upon the services of Drury, Money still has plenty of options.

He said: “We are just looking at our own performance.

“Morgan Smith is available and Willmott is available and we are looking to push on from where we are and give another performance like we have for most of the season.”

However, the game has comes too soon for defenders Freddie Murray and Shane Blackett who are recovering from long-term injuries and have picked up slight niggles as a result.

But Money is hopeful they will be back soon, adding: “We hope they are not too far away.”
