Hertford Town 2 Crawley Green 2 aet

Hertford took the lead after 34 minutes when the ball fell kindly for Marvin Samuel to break through and drive home.

A minute later Crawley were level as Chris Harvey’s long throw caused panic in the home defence and Crook was on hand to make it 1-1.

Hertford retook the lead on 64 minutes when a quick counter saw Malachi Brissett turn in Billy Healy’s cross.

Crawley pressed for an equaliser and got their reward on 89 minutes when Peter O’Donnell tricked his way into the box and his cross was met by Chris Gibson with a spectacular overhead kick to force extra-time.

No side could win it though, meaning they have to do it all again at Crawley tomorrow evening.
