In the second period, AFC continued to dominate and Jonathan Cooper completed the win.

On Saturday, AFC hosted Southern League Central outfit Chalfont St Peter, who ran out 2-1 winners.

Boss Steve Heath took the opportunity to look at some trialists as the first half was an even affair.

The Saints took the lead just before the break though with a headed goal from a corner.

With quite a few changes at the interval, sloppy play by AFC let in Chalfont to move 2-0 in front.

The youthful hosts started to put pressure on the Chalfont defence, whose keeper made four superb stops until he was beaten by Griffiths with nine minutes left.

This Saturday, AFC entertain a Luton Town XI at Creasey Park. Kick off is at 3pm, with entrance £6 plus concessions £3.
