Ricky Case made it 2-1 after 18 minutes with a lovely chip over the keeper, before a mix-up between Lee Wilson and keeper Richard Wilmot allowed Kofi Lockhat-Adams to equalise (32).

Rovers went to sleep after the break to put in arguably the most lethargic performance of the season as goals by Pietro Palladino (60) and Dan Brown (81) saw Ashford to victory.

Barton travel to already relegated Marlow this weekend.
