Roache nets treble in Dunstable rout

Dunstable Town hammered Division Two opponents Hales Ley United in their Molten Spartan SML Challenge Cup first round clash on Saturday.

Dunstable took the lead through Jonathan Cooper’s firm shot into the top left corner, while he added the second after the break.

Lee Roache then grabbed a quickfire brace on 54 and 56 minutes, Francis added his side’s fifth following an impressive solo run, before Roache complete his hat-trick with seven minutes left.

Blues travel to Leverstock Green in the Premier Division on Tuesday night.
