Rovers are too strong for North Greenford
Barton Rovers ended a run of four straight league defeats by triumphing over basement side North Greenford United at the weekend.
On a bitterly cold afternoon, it was Barton who started the better as winger Jordan Davis looked sprightly early on, with visiting keeper Josh Kensit forced off his line to deny an opening goal.

Hide AdAlthough play was a little scrappy afterwards, the match had a good tempo to it, despite the lack of clear-cut chances.
Rovers did break the deadlock on 36 minutes though when a shot rebounded to the feet of an offside-looking Russell Bull to stab home from close range.
After the break, George Moore levelled proceedings for the visitors, but this only served to fire Barton up.
The hosts went all out for the win as North Greenford never looked at the races from then on.
