Rovers fight back for a point against Petersfield
Barton Rovers fought back for a hard-earned point in their Southern League Division One Central clash against in-form Petersfield Town on Tuesday night, drawing 2-2.
The visitors got off to a great start as Joe Briggs slotted home with only nine minutes on the clock.

Hide AdBarton then upped their tempo, going close though Alex O’Brien and Tyler Ingham, before James Bishop levelled the scores on the half hour mark.
Petersfield were well on top after the break though and retook the lead with 18 minutes to play through Joe Richardson.
However, this immediately lifted Rovers as the equaliser came just two minutes later, as the hard working O’Brien fired home.
Both sides battled hard for the remaining 15 minutes, despite creating several good chances, neither team could force a winner.

Hide AdBarton remain in 18th place are now nine points clear of the drop zone with six matches to play.
Next up for the Rovers is a trip to face play-off chasing Aylesbury tomorrow night.
They then have another difficult clash on Saturday, hosting title hopefuls Kings Langley.
